WE CAN ALL RELATE

When we have a shared experience with someone,  we are more open to accept, love and help. And a worldwide pandemic has definitely been a shared experience. 

There is no one on the planet that can’t relate (in some way) to your time over the last few months. Sure, their stories won’t be exactly the same as yours, but you can be certain that everyone understands your moments of hope, frustration, fear, togetherness, hopelessness and boredom. 

I wanted this piece of art to really represent this notion of when we can understand and relate with each other, we can accomplish so much more. My hope is that it won’t take another pandemic to remind us of this.  Rather, we let this one we experienced to be our guide to being more open to learning about people. Not only people from different countries but people in your very own communities. You’d be surprised how many similarities we have if you just take the time to get to know someone.
